A retrospective analysis of 272 consecutive Comprehensive Clinical Ultrasounds (CCUS) in an Emergency Department (ED) found that CCUS was crucial for diagnosis in 23.97% of cases, supported clinical data in 41.57%, and ruled out diagnosis in 32.58%. It was misleading in only 1.87% of cases. The study highlighted the high diagnostic capability of lung ultrasound, EFAST, and CUS, especially in managing respiratory distress and emergency situations, reducing diagnostic time and healthcare costs.
