EFFECTS OF THERAPEUTIC ULTRASOUND FOR CONTOUR ASYMMETRY

Summary

This case report discusses a novel approach to assess and reduce superficial abdominal fat thickness. A 38-year-old woman experienced abdominal contour asymmetry following laser-assisted liposuction.

The study utilized compression-free sonographic scanning to confirm the difference in superficial abdominal fat thickness between the left and right sides. Subsequently, the patient underwent nine sessions of 40KHz therapeutic ultrasound, which successfully reduced the contour asymmetry.

This approach offers a non-invasive method for addressing aesthetic concerns related to abdominal fat distribution.
