This study examined the use of in-office ultrasound (US) as an adjunctive tool for patient care in a multidisciplinary kidney stone center. Over 50 clinic days, 60 consenting patients underwent ultrasound, resulting in a change in clinical care for 20 (33%) patients based on the findings. The research highlighted the potential of in-office US to improve workflow efficiency, reduce missed appointments, and provide timely information for clinical decisions. The study’s findings led to the integration of ultrasound systems into clinical practice, allowing for enhanced patient evaluation and management of kidney stone disease.
