EXPLORING THE FETAL HEART AT ISUOG FETAL CARDIOLOGY CONFERENCE

No results found.

Congenital heart disease (CHD) affects 8.2 per 1000 live births and is a major cause of infant morbidity and mortality. Prenatal diagnosis is crucial for improving neonatal outcomes by enabling timely interventions, though detection rates vary widely. Effective fetal cardiac screening should be part of routine prenatal care to identify structural, functional, and rhythm abnormalities. The ISUOG Fetal Cardiology Conference in Dublin on 13-14 July 2024 will focus on fetal heart exploration, featuring live scans, instructional videos, and discussions. Attendees will learn about prenatal cardiac imaging, diagnosis, and patient care pathways. Registrations for in-person attendance close on 5 July, with virtual options available and course recordings accessible for two months post-event.
