Inteleos will host a pivotal roundtable, “Advancing Maternal and Fetal Health through POCUS Training and Certification,” on May 29, 2024, in Geneva, during the WHO World Health Assembly and AI for Good Global Summit. The event aims to address the urgent need to certify primary maternal health clinicians in point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) to help reduce maternal mortality by 2030. Discussions will highlight disparities in maternal health services in low-income countries and advocate for expanded ultrasound training and certification. The roundtable will also explore public-private partnerships, local capacity building, and the role of advanced technologies in improving maternal care access and quality.
