Splenic metastases are rare, occurring in less than 1% of metastatic cancers typically in advanced disease. Splenectomy has been the primary treatment, but non-surgical approaches, like percutaneous radiofrequency ablation, are emerging. We discuss a case of a 57-year-old with ovarian cancer metastasis to the spleen treated successfully with this method, supported by a literature review highlighting thermal ablation as a viable option for managing splenic metastases.
