Summary
This study aims to investigate the safety and feasibility of using Ultrasound-guided High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (USgHIFU) as a non-invasive treatment for breast fibroadenomas, which are common benign breast lesions. Current management strategies vary, including observation and surgical excision, but some patients opt for excision due to bothersome symptoms.
The study will assess patient safety, cosmetic outcomes, tumor response, patient and physician experiences, and device performance when using the Echopulse device (Theraclion, Paris) for USgHIFU treatment of breast fibroadenomas.
